1. Introduction - Requirements, Price, Free Trial Download.

2. The Pixelmator Interface - Menubar Overview, Photo Browser, Full Screen Mode

3. Overview of the Tools Palette

-Selection and Move Tools: Create selections with Marquee and Lasso Tools, Move selections or layers.
-The Magic Wand: Select a range of colors.
-The Crop Tool: Constrain crop, delete and hide modes.

The Rubber Stamp: Repair scratches or other flaws, blending.

Pencil Brush and Eraser: Drawing straight lines, using the brush palette, magic eraser.

Gradient and Fill: Apply three types of gradients, fill a selection.
-Blur and Sharpen: Strength slider, bracket keys to adjust brush size.

4. Working with Layers

-Rename, Link, Merge, Adjust order: Move or resize multiple layers together, move one layer on top of another.

5. Making Image Adjustments

-Image Adjustments Intro: Auto Enhance.
-Levels and Curves: Color and Contrast adjustments.
-Exposure, Brightness & Contrast: SImple brightness adjustments.
-Colorize,Hue/Sat,Desaturate: Create a monochrome image, change hues, Make grayscale image.
-Color Balance, Channel Mixer, Replace Color: Use the red, green and blue channels to adjust overall color. Swap one color for another of your choosing.
-Invert, Posterize and Threshold: Use only a certain number of brightness levels, black and white two color effect.
-Rotate Canvas, Image Size: Adjust image size to save for the web.


6. Using Filters

-Filters Part 1: A quick look at the twirl, glass lozenge and sharpen luminance filters.
-Filters Part 2: A quick look at the kaleidoscope, clouds, lenticular halo and page curl filters.

7. Saving and Printing - Save for Photoshop or Pixelmator, scale from the print window, paper quality.
